Handwriting Term 2

We have been learning to form our letters correctly and to use capital letters in the correct place.

I am good at writing my words.

I need to get better at writing my words on my line.

Golf

We have been leaning how to do golf. His name is Mr Golf, Paul is his real name. This is my photo of me at golf and my writing.


Mr Golf taught us how to use a golf club and how to hit it high.

We have been learning to do golf and aiming at a target.

I liked everything about what we did.

I am good at hitting the ball.

I need to work on hitting the ball high.

Hot Air balloon adventure

This week we have used a picture as motivation for our writing. We had a story starter and then we
had to carry on the story. What I like about my writing is using capital letters.

I need to improve on using more adjectives. We also made a google draw showing the things that
we would take with us in on the balloon.

When I took off, I put my bags in the
air balloons and set up.

Then I took off and saw birds chirping
and people waving to me. When I
looked down, I saw many people.
I shouted “goodbye!” to the people.

Animals town

Oh no! There is a lion, when we went to Animal Town there are a lot of animals. We saw a meerkat as big as my hand then I ran away. So we got home and I said, “I miss Animal Town, can we go back to see more animals again. So we went back to Animal Town. Now you can pat the animals.

The Pou

As part of our writing programme we have been doing environmental writing. We had to sketch an object and as we were sketching we wrote down thoughts that we had. Then we wrote our thoughts down  as a poem. We cut out the sketch and added this to our writing.

My mum

This week in Writing we wrote about how special our mums are. Here is my published writing about my wonderful mum. Happy Mother’s Day!
